Choosing Your Dog

1. Ask everyone in the family to describe their perfect pet.
Pick one that is compatible with the “particulars” of the family

2. Research which type of dog breed would best suit the family. Some breeds are naturally more aggressive or high-strung than others.

3. Does anyone have allergies? If so, there may be additional monetary and health costs involved if allergies are severely aggravated by your new pet (not excluding returning the pet). Some dogs are considered "Hypoallergenic."

4. Young animals and children may not mix well. Young animals and children can accidentally hurt/injure each other.

5. Make sure pet suits your home and lifestyle. Big pets need big yards. Long haired pets need lots of grooming.
