marks you know of |

these barrels come with both the frame & the swing
handle. They appear to be porcelain from China & the frame & metalwork is
too heavy. Value about $25-30 |
One of the many pieces of Limoges flooding the market.( see below) I have checked a map of China & Taiwan but can't find the city there.Remember Limoges is the town not the name of a pottery |
Almost pathetic stamp but seems to be fooling the new buyer. Lots of patterns with the same backstamp. |
A better looking stamp, it must be coming from Taiwan |
A very poor stamp based on an 1862 style but too simple. Derby would be mortified |
One of the newer marks to show up. The real
mark is this one |
| Being sold on ebay as a buttermilk pitcher. If it says Victoria Ironstone it is a fake unless it is dinner china by Meakin | ||

still another silly stamp that some people think is real. Items come in plain white, cobalt blue and other patterns |
| Comes in a wide variety of cups or sets. Check the backstamp closely | ||
There are unscupulous people out there who are hiding their feedbacks and their bidders so they can catch the unwary. They claim it is to protect them from unwanted interference. Would you want to pay U.S. $225 for this new made in China item?
comes in various sizes, at least 5, and again porcelain &
Chinese Value varying from $10 -24 |
claim to be Staffordshire but the handle should be a dead
giveaway. As new as tomorrow Value about $20 |
have not got a good shot of the backstamp yet but these are the same as the pitcher above marked Doulton | supposedly Ringtons but exactly the same as the ones with the Royal Doulton mark |
| This is supposed to be by T. Rathbone & Co but is again Chinese. | ||
| The photos of this piece were supplied by someone who
paid over $100 on ebay and wanted others to know. made in China of Porcelain with
Staffordshire stamp says WWR & staffordshire ( sort of) |
Another WWR pattern lately in jug and bowl sets as well as other pieces. |

| another fake | ||
I can assure you no Englishman would spell Burslem with an A. Comes in a variety of biscuit barrels, dishes & jugs. The latest from China |
| A Portugeese copy of a 19C Mintons cheesekeep. Good colour but too good to be true. | ||
| A new copy of the Minton Palissy crab plate. Heavier than the original. If it is too good to be true it probably is | ||

Another Minton piece that has been making the rounds that is coming out of Portugal it seems. One of these was at $2,000+ on ebay before the Majolica International Society let their member know.Click here to check them out, a great club |

| same base as the one above with a different handle & collar | ||

After you have why not go to their home page ( link on their fakes site, check it out and perhaps join the club. It looks like a lot of fun and very reasonable!!
